Hello
Here's who I am & what I do
I’m Emily — I'm a social media specialist, songwriter and creative human based in Los Angeles. I love turning ideas into art, whether that’s through a song, a story, or a scroll-stopping post. Years in customer service taught me how to connect with people — now I just do it with a little more melody and color.

About Me.
From the time I was little, creativity has always been the thread running through everything I do. I grew up singing before I could even remember, started playing piano in elementary school, and by high school I was writing my own songs — exploring the way music could capture emotion and tell stories words alone couldn’t.

I went on to study Sociology at UC Santa Barbara, where I continued to nurture my love of performance through a cappella groups and live shows. After graduating, I returned home determined to pursue music seriously. In 2013, I packed up my life and moved to Los Angeles — just me, a dream, and a deep belief that I was meant to create.

The journey since then has been anything but easy. The music industry has tested and shaped me in countless ways, teaching me resilience, patience, and the importance of staying true to my artistic voice. Along the way, I founded East of June, a band through which I’ve written, recorded, and released songs that reflect pieces of my own story.

As my artistry grew, so did my curiosity for another form of storytelling — digital media. I began to see how social media could be more than a tool; it could be an art form in itself — a way to connect, share meaningfully, and tell stories through visuals, captions, and moments. While balancing my music career and customer service work, I dove deep into learning the world of digital storytelling: video editing, content strategy, and creative direction.

Over time, I built a personal portfolio helping artists, creators, and small brands bring their stories to life online. My goal — whether through a song, a post, or a campaign — has always been the same: to make people feel something real and to help others show the world who they are.
